Quelccaya Foundation is the legal entity supporting the public activities carried out under the public-facing name reschooling-with.

Objective

Founded in 2024, Quelccaya Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to "supporting, initiating, and developing artistic projects, educational programmes, and cultural activities in the Netherlands and internationally. Through its work, the foundation seeks to foster the conditions for post-extractive, decolonial, and regenerative societies."

The foundation emerged from Fossil Free Culture NL (FFC), to be able to carry the vital work of Towards Post-Extractive Cultures forward.

Named after the Quelccaya glacier—the world’s largest tropical glacier, currently under threat from the American Lithium Corp—the foundation is rooted in a commitment to defending ancestral territories and all forms of life. Working in solidarity with both human and more-than-human communities impacted by intensified extraction, Quelccaya Foundation fosters ancestral futures that move beyond extractivism and towards reciprocal relationships with Earth.

Non-Profit – ANBI

As of 1 January 2026, Stichting Quelccaya | reschooling-with is registered as an ANBI—a public benefit organisation—with RSIN/fiscal number 866399963.

Our work is supported through grants and donations, participant contributions, and income from learning and educational services. Donations by individuals may be eligible for income-tax deduction, subject to the applicable conditions. See more info here.

Cultural Diversity Code

At reschooling-with, diversity is part of how we learn, work and relate. We understand identities as intersectional, fluid and shaped by culture, race, class, gender, sexuality, ability, language and lived experience. They are also permeable and entangled with the living world.

We do not seek to flatten difference, but to learn with it, as a source of knowledge, tension and transformation. Across our organisation, programmes, research and relationships, we hold space for many ways of knowing, being and participating. This is an ongoing practice of listening, reflecting, redistributing, repairing and reshaping the conditions in which human and more-than-human communities meet, work together and are changed through encounter.

Fair Practice Code

Fair practice is part of how we grow as an organisation and sustain relationships. We aim to make open agreements about roles, expectations, budgets and decision-making, and to recognise, distribute and remunerate labour fairly—including work that often remains less visible. As a small, emerging organisation with limited resources, we recognise the challenges this entails and strive to be transparent about them.
